Last Updated on October 27, 2018Leave a Comment Favorited: 0 times

This reference tutorial provides the steps to add a deal custom post types and singular deal post design in Genesis. For this feature, we are going to use Pods framework plugin.

So, What is the idea?

When you want a custom post type design. there you will need 2 pages to be designed.

CPT archive and CPT singular post.

example.com/CPT/ is archive and example.com/CPT/sample post is a CPT singular post which needs to be designed.

So, how we will design these two pages?

There are different ways to customize these pages but we will go the most popular and simple way to design them.

We will create an archive-CPT.php file for archive and will create a custom sidebar for CPT singular post. Learn more about WordPress, Genesis and Custom Post Types.
